- GSIA Announces the Opening of Three New Representative Offices
Shenzhen, China (December 15, 2013): Members of the Global Security Industry Alliance (GSIA) will now benefit from the opening of three new GSIA Representative Offices located in Miami – USA, New Delhi – India and Moscow – Russia. Plans to develop local operations in the Americas, India and Russia were initiated by GSIA members and delegates during the recent 4TH GSIA Congress at the end of last month.
“The opening of these new offices is an important step towards realizing the GSIA vision of cultivating the growth of the “global security community,” said Richard Chace, Chairman of the GSIA. “These three offices will be the first of many to promote the development of a resource network dedicated to a global communications strategy. Additionally, with the rapid growth of the GSIA membership over the last two years, the creation of these Representative Offices will allow for more immediate responses to requests for logistical and resource support.”
GSIA expects operational efficiencies as a result of the expansion and plans to open similar offices in other areas of the world within the next year.
“In addition, these offices will focus on components, such as regional training, marketing of events, and other related security and community building activities,” said Chace. “The key to any organizations growth is found in the amount of support it gets from its members and the community it servers and I commend the GSIA members who actively lobbied for this expansion and are supporting it with their time and money. Without such support all we have is just another idea.”
