The Global Security Industry Alliance (GSIA) serves as a concierge and a shared "living" resource and repository for the global security community. GSIA programs and services are designed to be used interchangeably at either the Local or Global level. While GSIA works to actively strategize with and on behalf of Alliance members on ways to coordinate and focus global information resources it also works to support the local activities of its individual Alliance members and strategic partners. This local support is often in a "behind the scenes" customized role so as not to overshadow or distract from the prominence of the Alliance member GSIA is there to support. The GSIA mantra of "Thinking Locally and Acting Globally" is to underscore that GSIA is a force-multiplier resource and platform to help organizations grow for the betterment of the global security community.
